Maruthupandiyar College strictly adheres to the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009, as mandated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The institution is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited, and any individual found guilty, directly or indirectly, will face severe disciplinary and legal action.
The Anti-Ragging Committee actively works to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and ensures continuous monitoring to prevent its occurrence. The college promotes a culture of discipline, mutual respect, and inclusivity, safeguarding students from any form of physical, verbal, or psychological abuse.
Strict actions, including suspension, cancellation of admission, withholding of scholarships or results, and debarring from institutions, will be enforced against offenders as per UGC norms.
