Established in 2002, the PG and Research Department of Microbiology at Maruthupandiyar College, Thanjavur, has grown into a vibrant center of academic excellence offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. Equipped with a modern, well-designed laboratory and advanced instruments such as PCR, UV Double Beam Spectrophotometer, Gel Doc Unit, Electrophoresis, and Flame Photometer, the department creates a strong practical learning environment.
